Experience Art at Historic Valley Junction

Enjoy arts and crafts from more 40 local and regional artists at Valley Junction's Arts Festival, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday. Artists include Cara Shindler, Scott Diven, Julie Cahill and more, who will be set up around the area. Moonlit Movies

The Jamie Hurd Amphitheater in West Des Moines will show "

Some 20 pizza and dessert vendors will be on hand for the fifth annual Pizza Fest, 4-11 p.m. tomorrow at Ankeny's District at Prairie Trail. The event will also feature family-friendly activities—such as pizza-eating contests and dough-tossing challenges—as well as music acts, including a performance by popular country singer Easton Corbin.
