Enjoy live tunes from the local group Ducharme-Jones, grab a bite to eat at the Flame food truck and sip on craft beer tonight at Confluence Brewing Co., just south of Gray's Lake. Music will start at 7 p.m. at Confluence's outdoor beer garden, which features scenic views of trails and the Des Moines skyline.
The brewery's taproom is open from noon to 11 p.m. today and tomorrow, and from noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.

Art Center The Des Moines Art Center opened a new exhibition titled "Between Vertical and the Horizon: Japanese Works on Paper" today. The exhibition features more than 30 works that range in date from the mid-19th century to the 1980s. The Art Center closes at 4 p.m. today but is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow. Learn more
