Proof Offers Special Menu for Anniversary

About a year ago, Proof reopened after renovations and a leadership change. Now the Mediterranean-American-inspired eatery is commemorating the occasion with a special patio prix fixe menu today and tomorrow. Space is extremely limited—there are only 24 seats available at a time—so reservations are required.

There are both meat and vegan five-course menus. The meat menu begins with a jicama and prawn roulade, followed by a beet juice linguine. The main courses are poached black cod and an imperial wagyu rib-eye, topped off by a shiso cake. The vegan menu consists of a caramelized onion dumpling, zucchini "rosette," coconut-buckwheat crepe, chile relleno filled with chickpeas and apple, and a shiso cake.

Meals are $85 per person for the meat menu; $65 for vegan. Reservations can be made here.
