The Cheese Bar is known for its small plates and wine, but it's also now offering a "Pop-Up Brunch." (Photo courtesy of the Cheese Bar)Surprise! It's Brunch at the Cheese BarThe Cheese Bar will host its first-ever "Pop-Up Brunch" in response to patron requests, it recently announced. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, the restaurant's full bar will be available as well as select sparkling wines for $5. And instead of its normal menu, the Cheese Bar will serve a special brunch menu that includes snacks, hot plates and desserts.
We have our eye on a couple of dishes: The sweet potato pancake sounds
filling and tasty, with fried chicken, hot sauce, Iowa maple syrup and crispy sweet potatoes. The dessert option is a seasonal fruit pie a la mode.
