Pick Up Your Weekend Happy Hour

Gov. Kim Reynolds this week announced restaurants and bars can provide drinks via carryout or delivery. Many spots have jumped on that opportunity. Here are a few good options to support local while enjoying a social-distancing weekend happy hour.

Hello, Marjorie: The trendy Des Moines bar is serving up three of its most popular drinks and beer growlers for takeout from 1 to 5 p.m. tomorrow. Cocktails—one order serves two people—include Editor's Note, Daydream and the Marjorie. The growler choices are Marto Hazy and Thew Hello. You can find the menu and preorder here.

Bubba—Southern Comforts: Bubba is offering a full takeout menu with a plentiful list of beers, wines and bourbon—Maker's Mark Private Select, to be exact. Wine options include red blends (Two Birds, One Stone Red Blend), chardonnay (Sea Sun), cabernet (Tribute) and more. Bubba is open for takeout and delivery from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

Confluence Brewing Co.: To get your brew fix, Confluence Brewing Co. has curbside pickup service from noon to 8 p.m. today and noon to 5 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday. Consider picking up Confluence's newly released beers, South Side Citra and Lassos and Lasers, today.
