Here's an easy and fun way to give back. Tomorrow, five local restaurants — Panka Peruvian Restaurant, El Buen Sabor Latino, Harbinger, Ceviche and Ritual Cafe — will donate a portion of their sales toward the Iowa Immigrants Rights Program, a nonprofit organization extending services to immigrants in Iowa. All you have to do is eat or drink at one of the above locations.
The event, called +Together Des Moines, is hosted by the Des Moines Global Shapers, a young professionals group from the World Economic
Forum, and the American Friends Service Committee. To learn more, click here.
