The braised lamb shank is one of the featured items on the holiday menu at Johnny's Italian Steakhouse. (Photo courtesy of Johnny's) Johnny's New Features Are Spreading the Cheer Johnny's Italian Steakhouse, which has three locations across Greater Des Moines, is getting festive for the season, rolling out a new holiday menu through the end of December. Featured are a braised lamb shank served osso buco style ($29), tomahawk ribeye ($79) and de Burgo steak and
shrimp ($30). Make reservations here or call your nearest Johnny's location.
To complement your selection, Johnny's offers an expertly curated wine list. And don't forget to take in the unique ambiance. If there’s any place that proves "a good time never goes out of style," it’s the retro-swell Johnny’s. The Johnny’s concept tips its hat to the legacy of two fondly remembered Des Moines supper clubs — Johnnie’s Vets Club and Johnny & Kay’s. It’s a place to enjoy
updated versions of enduring and endearing steak and pasta classics in spiffy surroundings.
