Brunch Spots to Try This Weekend If you're craving some brunch this weekend (we definitely are!), here are some local spots we recommend.
The Breakfast Club: This new-in-January brunch spot in the East Village features ample vegan offerings (avocado-tomato jam toast), sweet treats (cinnamon roll pancakes) and savory classics with a twist (the Notorious B&G, a jalapeno biscuit with a fried egg, crispy bacon, and sausage, bacon and ham gravy). The eatery is open from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every day.
Centro: From the prosciutto and eggs with country Italian toast to the divine breakfast pizza, you can't go wrong with brunch at Centro, available at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday.
Bubba—Southern Comforts: Get your Southern, big-food fix here, including shrimp and grits, fried green tomato Benedict, chicken-fried steak and eggs. Brunch is offered from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow and Sunday.
For more suggestions, check out our story about some of the best al fresco brunch spots. With rain in the forecast, you can also enjoy these restaurants indoors.
