More than 120 vendors will participate in Iowa's Beer, Wine and Food Expo at the Iowa Events Center. (Photo by Katie McDonald Photography.) Get Your Beer, Wine and Food Here! Restaurants, breweries and wineries from across the Midwest will be on hand at Iowa's Premier Beer, Wine and Food Expo, 4-9 p.m. today and 1-8 p.m. tomorrow at the Iowa Events Center. More than 120 vendors, including a number of locally owned businesses, will provide samples of their products amid the live music and entertainment around the venue.
Tickets are $40 — $25 for designated drivers — and include food, beer and wine samples from all vendors. Like what you taste? Event staffers will hold your purchases until you're ready to leave.

Grieg and Dvorak For this season's third Masterworks concert, the Des Moines Symphony will perform scores from acclaimed composers
Edvard Grieg and Antonin Dvorak. "Grieg and Dvorak" will be performed 7:30 tomorrow night and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Des Moines Civic Center. Canadian piano virtuoso Jon Kimora Parker (pictured) will perform Grieg's "Piano Concerto." Tickets are $20-$70. Learn more
