Although the weather has warmed up this week, it still might be a little too chilly to catch one of Des Moines' many taco trucks. Fernando's Mexican Grill, located near Drake University, is the perfect inside alternative if you're looking for some Mexican-style cuisine over the weekend.
Fernando's authentic tortas, chile rellanos,
burritos and quesadillas are loaded with fresh and tasty ingredients. Of course, it also has tacos, which made an impression on food writer Wini Moranville when she paid a visit to the restaurant in October.
