Celebrate the New Year With Fleming's

Happy New Year! Ring in 2021 with Fleming's Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar's curbside-only promotion for two. The deal includes a bottle of Walt's pinot noir La Brisa or Coeur by Hall's cabernet sauvignon paired with two signature burgers or sandwiches. Prices range from $75 to $85, depending on your entree choices.

Burgers include the prime burger (beef, cheddar cheese, pepper bacon), California burger (beef, tomato, arugula, bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, jalapeño aioli) and chickpea and eggplant burger (chickpeas, eggplant veggie patty, arugula, Campari tomatoes, romesco sauce). You can also add a filet mignon sandwich at an extra cost.

Curbside pickup is available from noon to 10 p.m. today and tomorrow and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday. Learn more

Jolly Holiday Lights

If you haven't gotten your holiday lights fix yet, Jolly Holiday Lights is wrapping up its monthlong run this weekend. Hours are 5:30 to 10 p.m. Friday-Sunday at Adventureland Park. Admission is $20 per car. Funds benefit Make-A-Wish Iowa. Learn more.
Mr. Mojo Risin'

Mr. Mojo Risin', a Kansas City-based Doors cover band, is taking the Wooly's stage at 8:30 p.m. today. The quartet combines songs from the Doors' six studio albums and lead singer Jim Morrison's poetry. Tickets are $10-$12. Masks are required. Learn more.
Bruce Day and the Dangits

If you want to stay in this weekend but enjoy some live music, Bruce Day and the Dangits will play on DSMTV Live, a Facebook page featuring livestreamed performances from local musicians, at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow. The show is broadcast from the Palace Theater at Adventureland Park. Admission is $15.

Rock N Lights

Santa’s Rock N Lights is wrapping up its final weekend. Enjoy nearly 7,000 feet of light displays from your car from 5 to 10 tonight and tomorrow and 5 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Living History Farms. Tickets are $27.99 per vehicle with up to six people. Learn more.
Brenton Skating Plaza

The final day to enjoy the East Village's Brenton Skating Plaza is Sunday. Skating is available by reservation only throughout the weekend. Admission is $10. Organizers encourage skaters to wear a face mask and maintain social distancing when on the ice. Learn more.
