Downtown Farmers' Market to Expand There will be a few more vendors to enjoy at the Des Moines Downtown Farmers'
Market this weekend. The weekly event will have 165 participants, up from 110 earlier this month, welcoming back many local artists. You can also expect prepared food vendors on hand, who were added last weekend, and live entertainment in open areas. The market takes place at 7 a.m.-12 p.m. tomorrow in the Court Avenue district.

Wild Lights Festival
It's the final weekend of Blank Park Zoo's Wild Lights Festival, featuring more than 35 handcrafted, animal-shaped Asian lanterns. The show will be open from 7 to 10 p.m. every day this weekend, including Memorial Day. Admission is $20; $18 for zoo members. Learn more.
