St. Paddy's Day Brunch at Americana

While traditional St. Patrick's Day celebrations will be quelled because of the pandemic, there are a few restaurants offering specials. Americana is one of those, serving its Bottomless Bombshell Brunch at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The all-you-can-eat brunch starts with four courses, but you can choose anything from their menu, including scrambled eggs, pancakes, casseroles, ham slices and more. The cost is $20. Add bottomless mimosas for $14 more.

'Last Call'

Max Wellman will take center stage at Noce for his "Last Call" show at 7 p.m. today. He'll perform with a trio for a three-hour jazz set. Tickets are $30. Social distancing will be implemented and there is a strict mask policy. Learn more.
'Spirit'

Ballet Des Moines is back with a another triple bill performance as a part of its virtual season, "Acts of Resilience." The show, "Spirit," includes "In Formation," "Classical Excerpts" and "Padam Padam." You can watch them on Iowa PBS at 8:30 p.m. today. The show will be re-aired at 1 p.m. Sunday. Learn more.
Dean Delray  

Stand-up comedian Dean Delray will perform three shows at Teehee's Comedy Club today and tomorrow. For his routine, Delray draws from his background in the California Bay Area metal rock and Harley scene. The first showtime is 8 p.m. today. Tickets are $20. Learn more.
Boys' Basketball State Tournament

The high school boys' basketball state tournament ends today at Wells Fargo Arena. All four classes play their championship games throughout the afternoon and evening. It culminates with the Class 4A final at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are sold in groups of two to six people.
