Proof Showcases Young Chefs in New Series

Diego Rodriguez, Proof’s executive chef, is launching a Young Cooks Dinner Series through his Des Moines restaurant, featuring menus curated by young local chefs. Though Rodriguez will assist the featured chefs, the menus will be their own concepts. The series consists of three installations, the first starting at 5:30 tomorrow at Proof.

Tomorrow’s menu will be created by Zachary Acevedo, a recent graduate of the Iowa Culinary Institute at Des Moines Area Community College. A current chef at Harbinger, Acevedo plans on moving to Lyon, France, next spring to advance his culinary career.

Reservations for the Young Cooks Dinner Series can be made online. Learn more about the series here.
