The newly opened Foundry houses three vendors inside its historic structure. (Photo courtesy of the Foundry) The Foundry Celebrates Grand Opening
Housed in an
1890s rail-car barn and former iron forge, the Foundry puts a modern spin on the historic building in the Valley Junction district. Inside the Foundry are three vendors: Foundry Distilling Co., the Hall DSM — a food and beverage hall — and the Kitchen DSM, a nonprofit commissary with a social mission to fight hunger and homelessness while providing skills training.
You can celebrate the renovated building's 120th birthday at a grand opening from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow. Enjoy live music, tours, drink specials, food trucks and giveaways.
