The toppings on the new "24" pizza at Gusto Pizza Co. feature a mixture of beef, corn and cheese.

Pizza Recipe Honors an Iowa Football Legend

Gusto Pizza Co. has brought back one of its pizzas, "24," for a limited time. The name harks back to Nile Kinnick, a legendary University of Iowa football player and the namesake of the university's football stadium. Toppings include jalapeno cream corn sauce, smoked beef brisket, mozzarella, blue cheese, sweet corn and red onion.

The pizza is available in10-inch and 14-inch sizes for $13 and $21, respectively, at Gusto's locations in Des Moines (1905 Ingersoll Ave., #106) and West Des Moines (2800 University Ave, #400). Also recommended is pairing the pizza with a Ruthie lager from Exile Brewing Co. Order online here.
