Grab Some Norwegian Flavor

Daughters of Norway's annual Taste of Norway event, which runs from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at Faith Lutheran Church in Clive will have plenty of Scandinavian-inspired food options for sale. Included in the event are a bake sale, Norwegian arts, lefse baking demonstrations and more. A Norwegian cafe will sell breakfast and lunch items as well, like lapskaus (meat and potato stew), frukt suppe (fruit soup), rommegrot (sour cream porridge) and Norwegian meatballs. Act quickly — the event posting says prized baked goods, like lefse and kringla, sell out fast.
