Confluence Brewing Holds Oktoberfest

'Tis the season, as a variety of Oktoberfest celebrations are popping up in Central Iowa. From noon to 10 p.m. Saturday, Confluence Brewing Co. will hold its annual Oktoberfest event, with drink specials, live music and food.

Confluence is offering two ticket prices at $12 and $30. The $12 ticket comes with a half-liter ceramic mug, one free beer and $1 off refills all day. The $30 ticket comes with a one-liter mug, a free beer and $2 off refills all day. Music will be played by a variety of artists, and Not Your Mother's Loin will serve food from 1 to 9 p.m. in the beer garden.

During October or any other time,
beer enthusiasts can enjoy over a dozen seasonal and year-round craft beers brewed on-site at Confluence's popular taproom by Gray's Lake.

Community Playhouse Opening
